Broota Ranked Second Most Successful Indian Artist Alive

Rameshwar Broota rose to second spot on the "Hurun India Art List 2020” that ranks top 50 living Indian artists by the sale of their works sold at public auctions in the year ending 31 December 2019. The list is based on data by Artprice, the world’s largest compiler of art statistics.

The Sunday Guardian – Way too much monkey business

One wonders how Rameshwar Broota views his "Man" series of paintings now, 30-odd years after he completed it. These are among the numerous Broota paintings currently on display at the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art (DLF South Court Mall, Saket), an exhibition called "Visions of Interiority". Broota has been sketching male nudes for a long time now; this is, in part, a response to his own ageing body.
